Hello, I’m Sara, a professional Pet Portrait Artist based in Manitoba, Canada. From a young age I’ve always had a passion for creating art. Over the years I have taught myself to draw, paint, and have learned many techniques with several different mediums including pastels, coloured pencils & acrylic/oil paint.

I’ve always been a massive animal lover, and own two shih tzus of my own named Benny & Bruce. Working in a pet store for nine years including bathing & grooming dogs has especially fueled my passion for the love of animals. So, after years of practice and seeing my skills vastly improve, it is such a joy to be able to combine my two greatest passions in life; animals and art.

I specialise in highly detailed, realistic style drawings of your animals. My main goal when creating each piece is to capture the emotion behind the eyes of each individual animal and the unique personality that makes them “them”. It is the ultimate joy creating art of a client’s beloved family member, seeing their reactions, and knowing how much they’ll treasure this piece of art for a long time to come.
